The Walter Kaitz Foundation is proud to present its second annual Hollywood Creative Forum- Credentialed Meet & Greet (HCF-CMG) on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at The Beverly Hills Country Club. The Hollywood Creative Forum is a complimentary industry-sponsored event targeting all genres in non-fiction/reality programming that will bring cable networks and production companies together with invited and vetted directors, producers and writers with diverse backgrounds, all in an effort to promote diversity behind-the-camera. The Forum includes a keynote address, a “Meet and Greet” component and an industry all-star panel on how to successfully achieve diversity in non-fiction/reality with respect to talent, production staffing and programming. In addition, attendees will have networking opportunities during the program's complimentary breakfast and lunch. The keynote speaker is acclaimed producer, Marvin Acuna, whose newest series on Bravo is the highly-anticipated, Going Platinum, hosted by four-time Grammy nominee, Jewel. Also featured on the music competition show as a judge, is award-winning songwriter, Kara DioGuardi, formerly of American Idol. The first Forum was held in Los Angeles during the NCTA’s Cable Show in May 2010 at which the following panelists appeared: Emmy-winning writer-producer, Ali LeRoi; former President of Fox Television Studios, Emiliano Calemzuk; Jane Olson, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy, Oxygen Media; Cooking Channel general manager, Michael Smith; Omelet branding agency co-founder, Steven Amato; and Google New Business Development executive, Sunil Dahluvoy.
